emulsion - SMA

The cosmetic division of EMULSIA brings out its know-how by formulating, manufacturing and packaging the cosmetics and toiletry products; health and hygiene products; and animal products. With the status as a Cosmetology and Veterinary Laboratory, EMULSIA certify a guarantee of its quality services for their products.

In reviewing the activities of cosmetic and toiletries business in south-east Asian market, it is obvious that the demands for French products are highly regarded. EMULSIA tends to extend their range of business in Indonesia. Mr. Eric Bouton, the Asian Export Manger from EMULSIA, had an agenda to have a group mission in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in order to enhance their range of business particularly in south-east Asia. Due to the rising affluence and increased appearance consciousness of Indonesian consumers, Mr. Eric Bouton succeeded to discuss the interest of further cooperation.

The mission in Indonesia for three days has been arranged by Ms. Mega Melala, Business Development of IFCCI. They met 5 companies who are interested , as follows: Epiderma Indonesia Indah PT; Ristra PT; Taman Sari Royal Spa; Surya Inti Pratama PT and Dexa Medica PT.

Epiderma Indonesia Indah PT is an exclusive sole distributor of Epiderma product in Indonesia. Since 1996 until 2006, they have already 13 Epiderma clinics spread out and captured more than 13 thousands clients registered in the big cities in Indonesia.

Ristra PT is a versatile cosmetic company which serves the domestic and international market. In their modern factory, the products are manufactured under the most rigid standards and quality control procedures.

Surya Inti Pratama PT is a suplier for cosmetics and pharmacies industries for cosmetic, toiletries and is interested to expand their business in animal health and hygiene products with EMULSIA.

Taman Sari Royal Spa is owned by Mustika Ratu, one if the well-known major producer of cosmetics, body treatment and skin care products in Indonesia. It provides the services of Spa with the intern products.

Dexa Medica has evolved from a small company established in 1969 to one of Indonesia’s largest ethical pharmaceutical companies at the beginning of the 21st century and has become a prominent, well-respected player in the domestic pharmaceutical market.

LA PERLA

LA PERLA is famous worldwide for its collections of underwear and beachwear that have awakened desires and extolled the bodies of thousands of women.

In 1954, with energy and desire to achieve, Ada Masotti opened a little corsetry laboratory with a name full of promises, La Perla. The artisan matrix, the importance given to the designing phase, the in-depth knowledge of the female body, the fusion of innovation and tradition, the Italian identity and international orientation, the ethics of total quality are still today an integral part of the La Perla philosophy.

In the Global Communication plan carried forth by the La Perla Group, the La Perla Boutiques, single brand and franchising, play a fundamental role. Indonesia is considered one of the most strategic objectives of La Perla Group that has recently opened an office in Singapore to develop business initiatives in Asia, directed by Mr.Andrea Bonardi as Chief Representative of Asia.

The mission in Indonesia for La Perla has been arranged by Ms. Mega Melala, Business Development of IFCCI. For two days, Mr. Andrea Bonardi met 5 companies, as follows: Possession Lingerie, Primavera Indonesia, Gagan Indonesia, Panen Selaras Intibuana and Busana Perkasa Abadi. Those companies are the distributors of the well-known French and American clothing brands in Indonesia.

Together with the representative from each Indonesian company, they have got a chance to present their companies to each other, expressed their interest to enhance their range of business and discussed the possibility of further cooperation. Mr. Andrea Bonardi even mentioned that he was very pleased to know the mission of La Perla in Indonesia was successful.

THUASNE

Based since its establishment in the Saint-Etienne region, the THUASNE company has become an expert in narrow elastic textiles techniques. The company made a major strategic turn in 1950, when it became a producer of high added value finished products for the medical market: "elastic compression products". Today, THUASNE makes elastic compression bandages, medical belts, adhesive and cohesive bandages, orthopaedic supports (medical ankle and knee braces), as well as medical compression stockings and tights.

According to the chairman Elizabeth DUCOTTET, the three aims of this company is “to care, to protect and to develop”.

That’s why, on Tuesday, June 26th during its Asian tour, a representative of the group specialized into orthopaedic materials came to Jakarta to visit the main retailers of these kind of products.

So as to make the contact as good as possible from a retailer to another, the business development manager from IFCCI Mr Surya Mahakama Ismail accompanied Mr Herman Ozgan (foto), who was in Indonesia for the first time, all day long.

The first visit was done in PT ESA MANDIRI where Mr Eddy and Mr Surya (two of the three shareholders of the company) received them in one of their meeting rooms.
Thanks to their respective knowledge and professionalism, the communication has been easily established between the representative of Thuasne and the Indonesian management team. According to them, it seemed that even if the products are a bit more expensive than what they usually buy, the quality is worth the price!
They have even been really impressed by a lumbar belt made of a special fabric THUASNE is the only one to create in the world: COMBITEX.  The very special characteristic of this fabric is that on one side, the sweat is absorbed while the other side makes it out. It seems that this kind of products is much more adapted to the Indonesian people living in a very hot country.

The second visit led them to PT KEBAYORAN PHARMA.
It occurred that this company made its name famous in the industry thanks to its medicines and that now, it wants to develop its business thanks to materials such as Thuasne materials.
With the same Combitex belt and plenty of other samples he brought (breast prosthesis, wrist and knee braces etc), Mr Herman Ozgan didn’t have to face much difficulties to convince four managers and one doctor of this company about the quality of the products he was talking about!

The last company IFCCI and THUASNE visited is called SHIMATRA. Actually it is a famous retailer of orthopaedic materials in Jakarta. But actually he seems to be more focused on selling directly to potential clients rather than hospitals, clinics and doctors, which THUASNE actually reach.

Soon, it may happen that THUASNE expose its products in IFCCI’s showroom for a three or four days event where all the doctors, distributors, and representatives of Health Ministry and other officials are going to be invited.
