The Indonesian French Association (IFA) was established in 1979. This association gathers the French and Indonesian business communities with the objective of developing bilateral professional contacts.

In 1984, under the initiative of French Minister of Foreign Affairs, IFA became IFCCI and joined the l'Union des Chambres de Commerce et d'Industrie Françaises à l'Etranger (UCCIFE) or Association of Overseas French Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Since then IFCCI has developed with a more adapted structure and offers more qualified services both to French and Indonesian companies.

In facing the globalization era today IFCCI enhances its mission and provides more innovative and dynamic services.

ROLE AND MISSIONS

1. To inform, promote and support French companies in their approach to Indonesian market in order to let them develop their business with local partners. In reverse, IFCCI helps Indonesian companies in their approach to French market and companies.

2. To contribute in promoting Indonesian French business community by being a privileged meeting point through the organization of events such as business luncheons, working group and other annual prestigious events.

3. To detect and evaluate business opportunities in Indonesia followed by identifying potential companies in France and make them business proposals.

INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS FOR A WIDER NETWORK

IFCCI bilateral mission is currently conducted in association with five networks:

1. Union des Chambres de Commerce et d’Industrie Française à l’Etranger (UCCIFE) or (Association of Overseas French Chambers of Commerce and Industry). IFCCI is member of UCCIFE that unites 86 French Chambers of Commerce and Industry in 69 countries. This network now has more than 580 collaborators and represents more than 22500 members.
2. Assemblée des Chambres Françaises de Commerce et d’Industrie (ACFCI) that unites 183 French Chambers of Commerce, consisting of 21 regional Chambers of Commerce. IFCCI becomes can take advantage of the link of this network to be in contact with French companies all over the world.
3. Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN). IFCCI is the bilateral committee for France in KADIN.
4. L'EIA (European Indonesian Association), Association des Chambres de Commerce Europeennes en Indonésie.
5. IBC (International Business Chamber), Association of International Chambers of Commerce Industry in Indonesia.
   

ASSISTANCE TO YOUNG PEOPLE

IFCCI offers to French students at the end of their study commercial and managerial enriched trainings in order to develop their dynamism and to propose them an experience of export on potential market.
